Another Woman Arrested In Jean McConville Case
Police investigating the abduction and murder of Jean McConville have arrested a 57-year-old woman in connection with the 1972 case.
Another woman, also aged 57, and a 56-year-old man were arrested earlier this month and later released after questioning.
Widowed mother-of-10 Jean McConville was abducted from her flat by the IRA, before being murdered and buried in secret.
Her body was found 35 years later at a beach in Co Louth.
Police investigating the case arrested the woman on Wednesday. She has been taken to Antrim for questioning.

'Disappeared' victim confirmed as Jean McConville
Police in the Republic of Ireland have confirmed that the body of a woman found on a Co Louth beach in August is that of "disappeared" Belfast woman Jean McConville. Mrs McConville, 37, was abducted from her Belfast home in 1972 after coming to the aid of a British soldier who had been shot outside her front door.

Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams is being questioned by the PSNI in connection with the murder of Jean McConville in 1972. Mr Adams was arrested on Wednesday night. Mrs McConville, 37, and a mother of 10 children, was abducted and shot by the IRA. Her body was found on a beach in County Louth in 2003.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

A 77-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972. A mother of 10, Jean McConville was kidnapped from her flat in the Divis area of Belfast in December 1972 and shot by the IRA.
