PSNI In Joint Search Operation

A joint search operation has been launched by the PSNI, South Wales Police and the UK Border Agency for a missing 34-year-old man.

It is understood that the agencies are looking for Khalil Fawzy, who was allegedly last seen on Newry Road, Warrenpoint Harbour, at around 16:45 on Sunday.

According to reports, a large police operation was in place at Cardiff docks on Tuesday afternoon.

Police have appealed for any one with information on Mr Fawzy to call the non-emergency police number 101.

Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. Police have raided a number of properties in Belfast that are suspected of being used as brothels. According to reports, a small number of people have been arrested and a number of people, believed to be victims of human trafficking, have been rescued.

Funeral for dinghy tragedy teenager
A Coleraine teenager, who drowned off the coast of Castlerock, is to be buried today. Robert McMullan, 15, died when the dinghy he was in with a friend got into difficulties and capsized on Tuesday. He was airlifted to hospital, but died later. His friend managed to swim to shore and raised the alarm.

McParland Murder - Woman Released
A woman has been released after being arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Sean McParland in north Belfast in February 1994. The 41-year-old woman was arrested on the morning of Monday 22 September, and taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim Police Station for questioning.
