Man Arrested Over Jean McConville Murder
A 77-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the abduction and murder of Jean McConville in 1972.
A mother of 10, Jean McConville was kidnapped from her flat in the Divis area of Belfast in December 1972 and shot by the IRA.
The 37-year-old's body was only discovered when it when it was found on a beach in County Louth in the Republic of Ireland in August 2003.
A man was arrested in west Belfast today by detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.
He has been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Antrim for questioning.

The High Court in Belfast has granted bail to 77-year-old Ivor Bell, the man arrested last week in connection with the 1972 disappearance of Jean McConville. Police in the Republic of Ireland have confirmed that the body of a woman found on a Co Louth beach in August is that of "disappeared" Belfast woman Jean McConville. Adams Denies McConville 'Backlash' Threat
