Masked Robbers Tie Up Pensioner And Son
Three masked men have tied up a pensioner and his son at a north Belfast house before stealing their car.
The gang, thought to have been armed with an axe and a taser, entered the house in the North Circular Road area on Sunday night at around 22:55.
A pensioner was tied up in an upstairs bedroom while his son, who is in his 20s, was tied up, assaulted by the butt of the firearm and tasered.
The intruders then left the property with a sum of money, a quantity of jewellery and the family's black BMW 318 car.
Reports say the car was seen heading in the direction of the Springfield Road toward the Monagh bypass area of west Belfast.
Police have said the victims were not seriously injured, but have been left shaken by the ordeal.
