Teenager Injured In Paramilitary Shooting
An 18-year-old has been left injured in a paramilitary-style shooting in west Belfast.
At around 8pm on Thursday, the teenager was shot in both legs.
The incident happened in the Glenkeen area of Poleglass.
The victim was approached by two men who walked him along a pathway. They then forced him to lie down on the ground before shooting him once in each leg.
The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
One of the attackers has been described as being approximately 5'10" tall and of heavy build. It is thought both men may have fled the scene in a red saloon car.
Detectives have appealed for information.

PSNI Appeal For Information About West Belfast Shooting
The PSNI have appeal for witnesses to or any one with any information about a shooting incident in west Belfast on Wednesday night. A man was shot in the leg at Creeslough Gardens at around 21:30 on Wednesday night. It is understood that victim is in his 40s and his injuries are not life threatening.

A 20-year-old man has been treated in hospital for gun shot wounds to his arms, legs and one hand following a paramilitary style shooting in east Belfast early this morning. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday morning after police and ambulance crews were called to a walkway between Mersey Street and Severn Street.

Murder inquiry launched following south Armagh shooting
The police have begun a murder inquiry folowing the death of a 27-year-old man who was shot in the legs in south Armagh. A 35-year-old man was also shot and is in hospital in a critical condition. He is being treated for gunshot wounds to his left leg. It is understood that the attack happened at around 8.

Police in Newtownards have issued an appeal for information following a serious assault in the town on Sunday 02 January. According to police, a man aged in his 20s, was attacked by up to four men armed with "poles" in an alleyway close to Glenbrook Road at about 19:45. The victim suffered injuries to his head, legs, arms and hands.
