Women Tied Up During Robbery

Two women have been tied up by a gang of masked men during a burglary in Portrush.

At around 10pm on Thursday, five armed men entered a property in Hopefield Gardens.

The women were tied up by the gang, who then ransacked the property.

It is not yet clear if anything was taken from the home.

Both women were taken to hospital and treated for shock but did not receive any physical injuries in the incident. They are said to have been left shaken by the burglary.

Police have appealed for information.

Women Tied Up In South Belfast Burglary
Two women have been assaulted and tied up during an aggravated burglary in south Belfast, police have said. Three men forced their way inside a property on Ashley Avenue at around 11.30pm on Wednesday night, 11 December. Two women, aged 38 and 40, who were inside at the time were assaulted by the intruders before being tied up.

Appeal For Information On Aggravated Burglary In Cookstown
The PSNI have issued an appeal for information following a report of an aggravated burglary at the Queens Avenue area of Cookstown on Friday 3rd February. Shortly after 10pm, it was reported that four masked men entered a property in the area with one of the men armed with an iron bar and another man armed with a suspected firearm.

New Shankill Shared Women's Centre Opens
