Burglar Attacks Pensioner In Co Armagh
An elderly woman has been injured after being attacked by a burglar in her home in Co Armagh.
The woman, aged in her 80s, was assaulted when she discovered an intruder in her home on Mary Street in Lurgan at around 05.45am.
After attacking the woman the burglar left the house with nothing.
A woman in her 70s was also left badly shaken in the incident.
The victim received treatment at her home.
The burger was wearing a black hooded top.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Police have issued an appeal for information after a woman was assaulted at her County Tyrone home by a burglar. It is understood that at about 4.30am on Sunday, 22 April, the woman was awoken by a noise at her home on Mourne Avenue in Coalisland. The woman was confronted by an intruder who slapped her and demanded money.
