NI House Prices To Increase
House prices in Northern Ireland are expected to increase by 4%, according to an expert.
Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) spokesman Mr Samual Dickey said: "This year started as 2013 ended, with the price balance firmly in positive territory, indicating that the recovery which began in the second half of last year is continuing.
"This is in keeping with the wider economic picture, as a range of indicators are pointing to positive growth."

Electricity Prices To Rise On 01 October
Power NI is to increase its electricity prices by 13.8 %. This is the firms biggest price rise in 5 years. The price increase will come into effect on 01 October 2018. Stephen McCully, Managing Director of Power NI, said: "Putting our prices up is the last thing we want to do, but unfortunately we are at the mercy of fluctuating world fuel prices.

Rise In NI House Prices
Northern Ireland house prices increased by 2.6% in the year to April 2014, according to the latest report from the Office for National Statistics. Although prices are rising again, the increase was still behind a 9.9% rise in the UK. House price annual inflation was 10.4% in England, 3.3% in Wales and 4.8% in Scotland.

NI House Prices Continue To Fall
Northern Ireland house prices continue to fall despite an increase in transactions, according to a new report. The survey by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyers (RICS) and Ulster Bank revealed the overall pattern of declination was likely to remain for the foreseeable future.

NI House Prices Down By More Than A Tenth
Figures out today from the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency show that house prices have fallen by 11% in the frst six months of this year. Land & Property Services released the Residential Property Price Index report for Quarter 2 of 2012, which is compiled from stamp duty information.

House Market Recovery 'Patchy'
Any recovery in the Northern Ireland housing market is still patchy, according to the latest University of Ulster research. Average house prices have increased by around 2.1% in the third quarter. This brought the average property value to £164,017 compared with £158,886 in the second quarter.
