County Armagh Crash Victim 'Critical'

A man injured in a traffic accident in County Armagh has been described as in a "critical" condition.

The 21-year-old was taken to hospital following the single-vehicle collision, which occurred on the Monaghan Road around 05:00 on Sunday morning.

He is being treated in hospital for injuries which are believed to be serious.

The Monaghan Road between Linwoods Bakery and Longnancys junction was closed for a time but has now been reopened.

Man Dies In Caravan Fire
A 32-year-old man has died in a caravan fire in County Monaghan this morning. The blaze started at the back of a halting site on Jubilee Road in Clones at around 9am. The man's body was taken to the Mater Hospital for a full post-mortem examination. It is believed the fire started accidentally.

Roads Closed In Craigavon Security Alert
Army bomb experts are examining a suspicious object at Monbrief Road East in Craigavon. A number of roads have been closed in County Armagh due to the security alert. The New Line in Craigavon is closed from the Tandragee Road junction to Glenavon Lane and the Monbrief Road East from Roundabout B to Drumgask Road is also closed.

Number Of Roads Remain Closed Following Storm Ali
A number of roads remain closed across Northern Ireland following the damage caused by Storm Ali. The following roads are still closed, however the Department for Infrastructure (DfI) is working to clear the obstructions along with its multiagency partners.
