Boy, 12, Injured In House Attack
A 12-year-old boy has been left with facial injuries after he was hit with a brick as he slept in his home.
The attack, which happened at a property in the Kilmakevit Square area of Cullybackey, Co Antrim, happened in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Police received a report just before 1.30am that a boy had been injured after a brick was thrown through his bedroom window. The brick hit him in the face and he suffered swelling above his eye. He is also said to have been left badly shaken by the attack.
It is understood the boy's mother was also in the house at the time but was not injured.
Police have said they are working to establish a motive for the attack.

Boy Injured In Ballymena House Attack
A 15-month-old boy has been injured after a brick was thrown through the window of a house in Ballymena on Wednesday night. The infant was in the living room when the incident occurred at a property on the Moat Road at around 11.30pm. Paramedics treated the boy at the scene, however he did not need to be taken to hospital.

Man Injured In Fourth Brick Attack
A second motorist has been injured after a brick was thrown through the windscreen of his van in County Down. It is the fourth such attack in the area in the past week. Dominic Lennon suffered cuts to the head when a brick was thrown from a passing car on the road between Ards and Greyabbey at 7.40pm on Wednesday.

Taxi Driver Injured In Brick Attack
A taxi driver is being treated in hospital for severe facial and head injuries, after a brick was thrown through a car window near Newtownards, County Down. Jackie Anderson, from Newtownards, had been driving along the Portaferry Road shortly before 10.30pm on Saturday when the attack took place.
