Woman's Car Hijacked In Finaghy

A woman has been left badly shaken after her car was hijacked on Sunday morning.

The woman, understood to be a care worker, was leaving the Finaghy area in south Belfast around 9am yesterday (5 January), when her car, a Kia Sportage, had become stuck in soft ground.

A man approached and helped the woman to free her car before he dragged her from it. He then drove off in the direction of the Lisburn Road. The car was later found abandoned on the Andersonstown Road.
