£27m EuroMillions Win For Strabane Woman
A woman from Strabane, Co Tyrone, has reportedly scooped last week's £27m EuroMillions jackpot.
Speaking to the Tyrone Herald newspaper, Margaret Loughrey, 48, said she had matched five numbers and two lucky stars in Tuesday night's draw.
Ms Loughrey, who is unemployed, said she bought the lucky dip ticket in a local Supervalu store on Tuesday after visiting the job centre. It was only the following day, when she realised she had matched all seven numbers and said she was "in a state of shock".
She also told the paper she had no immediate plans as to how she would spend the money, but that she would not allow it to change her, adding: "Strabane is my home and always will be."
The EuroMillions operator has not yet confirmed the name of the winner from Tuesday's draw, but the single jackpot-winning ticket was purchased in the UK.
The numbers drawn on Tuesday were 19, 23, 27, 42, and 44.
The lucky stars were 3 and 5.
