Coleraine Gas Fitter Pleads Not Guilty In CO Poisoning Trial
A Coleraine gas fitter has denied the manslaughter of two teenagers from Newtownabbey who died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Aaron Davidson and Neil McFerran died in August 2010. The 18-year-olds had been staying at an apartment in Castlerock, near Colertaine, to celebrate having finished their exams.
They were found by their parents, who went to the property after they had been unable to contact the friends.
George Brown, from Ballygawley Road, Aghadowey, pleaded 'not guilty' to the manslaughter of both teenagers at Coleraine Crown Court on Thursday.
He also denied a further 19 charges involving failures in Health and Safety legislation.

Finance union IBOA has expressed concerns after the Ulster Bank told staff it is seeking up to 60 redundancies from its branches in Northern Ireland. The bank also said it is to stop Saturday opening hours at 11 of its branches from 07 May.

Police Appeal For Missing Coleraine Man Andrew Smith
Police are appealing for information to trace missing Coleraine man Andrew Smith. Mr Smith, 28, was last seen in the Ballysally area at around midnight. He is believed to have been driving a white Ford Focus. A PSNI spokesperson said: "We are keen to establish Andrew's whereabouts and that he is safe and well. Police can be contacted on 101.

Dog Attacked In Coleraine Fails To Recover
Police are appealing for information after a dog was attacked at its owner's home on Co L'Derry. The jack russell is believed to have been struck with a "blunt object" several times in the garden of a property on Maple Drive, Coleraine, on Sunday morning. The dog did not recover and had to be put down.
