Marian Price On Massereene Trial

Convicted IRA bomber Marian price has gone on trial over her part in the attack on two soldiers at the Massereene Army Barracks in County Antrim in 2009.

The 59-year old, whose real name is Marian McGlinchy, is accused of providing property for use in terrorist activity.

The charge relates to suspicions that she bought a mobile phone that was eventually used in the Real IRA attack.

The attack happened on 7 March 2009, when Sappers Mark Quinsey and Patrick Azimkar were shot as they collected a pizza delivery at the front of the barracks.

Two men accused of the murders were tried and acquitted.
