Crowley Carbon Announces 20 New Jobs
Crowley Carbon, an Enterprise Ireland client and Ireland's fastest-growing Energy Services company, has announced the creation of 20 new jobs at the launch of C³, the world’s first Carbon Control Centre located in Enniskerry, County Wicklow.
The state-of-the-art facility, which is the first of its type in the world, will enable Crowley Carbon to monitor, control and alert clients to any event that is causing their equipment to consume more energy than should be required.
The Department of Jobs through Enterprise Ireland has provided support on this project.
The ground-breaking, proprietary technology has been in development for the past two years and undergone extensive testing at sites in Ireland where its use has reduced energy costs by as much as 30 percent.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton TD said: "The announcement that Crowley Carbon is to create 20 new jobs is very welcome. Here is an Irish company developing innovative technology, pursuing new markets and creating new jobs and we wish them every success for the future."
One of C³'s first clients, Emrill, is one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the Middle East and provides services to some of the largest and tallest buildings in the world.
