Police Appeal After Poleglass Rape
Police are appealing for information following the serious sexual assault of a 23-year-old woman in the Bell Steele Road area of Poleglass on Friday 01 November.
The woman was walking along the Bell Steele Road from the direction of Stewartstown Road at around 22:10 when she was approached from behind by three unknown males.
The victim was forced onto a grass bank close to the Woodside Estate, was held down and sexually assaulted.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw a woman walking on the Bell Steele Road or anyone who saw a group of males in the area around the time of the assault to contact them.
Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Detectives in the Rape Crime Unit 0845 600 8000.
The independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Woman Killed In Co Armagh Road Collision
A woman in her 30s has been killed in a road crash in Portadown, Co Armagh. The woman was hit by a car as she was walking on the side of the Moy Road at around 9.45pm on Tuesday. The road was closed for a short time but it has been reopened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
