UDA asked to reveal whereabouts of missing man
The Loyalist Commission has appealed to the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) to reveal the whereabouts of a missing loyalist to his family.
The Commission, which is comprised of representatives from the UVF, RHC, UDA and Protestant clergy, made the call after 21-year-old Alan McCullough was last seen leaving his home in the Shankill area of the city last Wednesday night.
The Belfast man had only just returned to the province after fleeing from his home following a feud within the UDA earlier this year.
Commission chairman Reverend Mervyn Gibson said his group had made representations to the UDA. However, it refused to confirm any involvement in his disappearance.
Police believe Mr McCullough has been murdered but they continue to search for his whereabouts and have put up posters calling for the public to get in touch concerning his disappearance.
