Randox Teoranta Creates 30 New Jobs
Minister McGinley welcomed an announcement by Randox Teoranta that it has secured a multi-million euro deal with a leading healthcare distribution company in Mexico which will be worth €8 million over the next two years.
In particular, he expressed his delight at the creation of 30 new jobs in production and logistics at the Dungloe facility.
As far back as September 2011, the Minister commended Randox Teoranta's long term commitment to Dungloe by purchasing the building that it leased at the time from Údarás na Gaeltachta. To date, Randox has invested €8 million in the Dungloe facility with assistance from Údarás na Gaeltachta.
The Minister said: "This recent announcement further endorsed the commitment by Randox Teoranta and the long term viability of this enterprise as a real success story for Donegal, and expressed his confidence that Randox Teoranta would fulfil their expectation to increase the Dungloe facility workforce to 130 by the end of 2015."

Dungloe Gaeltacht Jobs Boost Announced
A much-needed employment boost is heading for an area of the north west that has previously seen numerous jobs lost. Some 135 jobs are to be created in the Donegal Gaeltacht, the first major employment boost for the Irish language area since local TD Mary Coughlan was appointed Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise.

Galway Energy Firm Secures €2m Contract
A Co Galway renewable energy firm has secured a contract that will create 10 new jobs. Éire Composites Teoranta, based in Indreabhán, Connemara has secured the €2m contract with the European Space Agency, with Irish Enterprise Minister, Batt O' Keefe due to make a formal announcement today (Monday).

Sixty new jobs are to be created at a major new Iarnrod Eireann Traincare maintenance facility in Co Laois. The National Traincare Maintenance facility, located on a 39 acre site to the west of Portlaoise town centre, will play a central role in the major improvements planned for Iarnród Éireann’s Intercity services.
