Organisers Happy With Progress Of Graduation Teacher Jobs Scheme
Some 200 places on a short-term employment scheme for newly-qualified teachers have been filled, with organisers saying that are "pleased" with the uptake.
Under the scheme 270 two-year posts were created to give work to teachers qualified with the last three years but out of work, and to help improve the literacy and numeracy skills in deprived areas.
Launched in May, the Western Education and Library Board oversee matching schools with graduates.

O'Dowd Hits Back On Classroom Jobs
Fears over an apparent lack of job opportunities for newly qualified teachers have been in focus this week. It has been claimed that as many as 95% of new teachers are unable to secure full time jobs. That's according to a DUP MLA who underlined the claim when MLAs debated the concerns over the number of new teachers at Stormont.

New Program Aims to Boost Adult Numeracy Skills
Economy Minister Conor Murphy has launched Multiply, a free programme designed to improve adult numeracy skills. Funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, Multiply will provide numeracy training to over 3,000 adults through 115 initiatives delivered by further education colleges, universities, local councils, and community organisations.
