NIHE Chief To Retire
Northern Ireland Housing Executive's (NIHE) Chief Executive Dr John McPeake has announced his intention to retire after 31 years of service to housing in Northern Ireland.
During his long and distinguished career in the Housing Executive he has held a number of key posts including Head of Research and Director of Design and Property Services, and was appointed Chief Executive in 2011.
Dr McPeake recently sought the approval of our Board to retire and this was agreed.
The date for his retirement is likely to be at the end of the financial year.

Housing Executive Urged To Clarify Tower Block Proposals
Sinn Féin Housing Spokesperson Carál Ní Chuilín has written to the Chief Executive of the Housing Executive Board seeking clarity on their plans for Tower Blocks in north Belfast. The North Belfast MLA said: "There are 33 Tower blocks across the north, seven of which are in the New Lodge area of North Belfast.
