Woman Arrested Following Death Of A Toddler

A woman has been arrested in relation to the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn, County Antrim.

The boy was found dead at a house in Trinity Terrace on 4 July this year.

Police said they were treating the death as murder and a 27-year-old has been arrested.

She is currently being questioned by the police and is assisting them with their enquiries.

Man Charged In Possession Of Heroin
A man is to appear in court charged in possession of heroin. Police arrested five people during searches of a property in Newry on Wednesday, 16 January. Two men have also been charged in possession of a Class A drug. A 50-year-old woman has also been charged with permitting premises to be used for the supply of a Class A drug.

Woman Charged With Murder Of Toddler
A 27-year-old woman arrested over the death of a three-year-old boy in Lisburn has been charged with his murder. Brendan Owens was found dead on 4 July at a property in Trinity Terrace, Lisburn. A post-mortem examination was carried out on the infant at the time, but it is understood the results were inconclusive.

Woman Arrested After Sudden Death Of Man In L'Derry
A woman has been arrested following the sudden death of a man in Magherafelt. A 46-year-old man died in L'Derry in the early hours of Tuesday, 05 December. Police are treating the death as suspicious. A 32-year-old woman has been arrested and is assisting police with their enquiries.

Third Teen Arrested Over Girl's Death
A third teenager has been arrested following the sudden death of a 15-year-old girl in Portadown. Caitlin White died in hospital after she fell unconscious in the Corcrain area on Saturday, 20 May. A 15-year-old boy was detained on Tuesday, 23 May.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.
