Men Plead Guilty To Manslaughter In Suspected Homophobic Attack
Three men have admitted to the manslaughter of a man who was beaten to death in a suspected homophobic attack in County Armagh last year.
Andrew Lorimer, 43, was found dead by a burglar on 3 February 2012 who, coincidentally, broke into his property at Portlec Place in Lurgan.
Christopher Wright, 22, Richard Chester, 23, and James Jordon, 29, had been due to go on trial for murder.
However, all three men admitted manslaughter at a Belfast court on Tuesday.
All three have been remanded in custody, and the judge adjourned passing sentence until November.

Three youths arrested after paint bomb attack
Three youths were arrested last night after paint bombs and stones were thrown at police in Londonderry. The officers were targeted at around 23:00 in the Fahan Street area. Earlier it had been reported that a paint bomb was thrown at a house in the Fountain area.

The Northern Ireland Policing Board today outlined three key areas it wants to improve on over the next three years. The Board, which published its aims in its new Corporate Plan for the period 1 April 2005 – 31 March 2008, said it wants to improve on ‘Effectiveness, Efficiency and Public Confidence’.

Two Men Attacked With Baseball Bats In Co Antrim
Two 18-year-old men have been attacked with baseball bats in Whitehead, Co Antrim. The victims were closing premises in the Balmoral Avenue area at around 8.30pm on Tuesday, 04 October when three men assaulted them. Both men were treated in hospital for their injuries. One has been discharged, and the other remains in hospital.
