Bombardier Secures Deal With Flexjet
Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has welcomed the news that Bombardier has secured a deal with Flexjet LLC, valued at approximately $5.2 bn.
The order, for up to 245 planes, involves a number of Bombardier's aircraft programmes which are all supported from its Northern Ireland operations.
Arlene Foster said: "This latest order represents very good news for Bombardier and signals its continued success. As a major employer in Northern Ireland, this significant order will help to secure Bombardier's long-term future, in addition to benefiting the local aerospace supply chain.
"Invest Northern Ireland has been working closely with Bombardier and other aerospace companies to support growth and ensure that the sector remains internationally competitive."

Bombardier Deal Welcomed
The Alliance Party has welcomed the announcement that Bombardier has secured a major order for its C Series aircraft from Delta Airlines. The American airline has agreed to purchase 75 CS100 aircraft with an option for 50 more. The C Series wings and other parts are produced in Belfast.

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has welcomed today’s announcement by Bombardier Aerospace that it has secured a major order with US firm Delta Air Lines, Inc. The order has a potential value of over $3billion and includes 40 firm CRJ900 NextGen aircraft and options for 30 more for operation by Delta Connection carriers.
