Powerscreen completes £300k office refurbishment

Powerscreen International Distribution Limited has completed a £300k office refurbishment project at the company's Dungannon headquarters.

Powerscreen was acquired in 1999 by Terex Corporation, one of the world's leading construction equipment manufacturers and Phil Widman, Chief Financial Officer of Terex Corporation, visited the plant to view the improvements.

Damian Power, Finance Director for Powerscreen, commented: "At a time when so much manufacturing news in the UK is not positive, it is pleasing to be able to announce some good news. This investment – although relatively small – can be seen as a vote of confidence by Terex Corporation in the workforce here at Dungannon.

"We are continuing to grow our business despite uncertainties in global markets and continue to launch new products which are helping in this process.

"We recently hosted very successful conferences here in Ireland and in the USA for our distributors and had over £1.5m of screening and recycling products on working display, six of which were brand new developments and which were launched to our distributors at both events."
