Police Renew Appeal For Missing Man
Police have renewed their appeal for information regarding a man who has been missing for a year, the BBC has reported.
Dean Patton, who is from Portrush, was last seen near the town's Eglington Hotel on the night of Wednesday 25 July 2012.
The 25-year-old is described as being around 6ft tall with dark hair and a tanned complexion. On the day he was last seen, he was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans.
Police have asked the public for information that will help them locate the missing man.
It is understood Mr Patton had suffered mental health problems for seven years before his disappearance. Last year, his parents voiced concern that he did not have access to his medication.
A week before he went missing, Mr Patton moved from the family home to supported living accommodation in Portrush.

Missing man Declan Mawhinney has been found safe and well, according to the police. Mr Mawhinney, 46, went missing from Letterkenny on Saturday at approximately 11.40pm. A missing person appeal was launched by the police and his family. He was located in Letterkenny on Tuesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.
