Co Armagh Bomb Alert Declared An Elaborate Hoax
A bomb alert in County Armagh has been declared an elaborate hoax.
A number of houses had to be evacuated after army bomb experts examined a suspicious object on the Laurelvale Road in Tandragee.
All roads have now been reopened and residents have returned to their homes.

Police have described a security alert in Ballykelly, Co Londonderry, as an "elaborate hoax". On Thursday evening, army bomb experts were called to the Carnamuff Road following reports of suspicious objects in the area. A number of houses in the area were evacuated during the alert.

A security alert in L'Derry has now ended after it was declared an elaborate hoax. A suspicious object was discovered on the Fairview Road in the Galliagh area on Monday, 02 November. Army bomb experts attended the scene and examined the object. It follows an earlier security alert near St Columb's College.

A security in east Belfast which caused major traffic delays has been declared an 'elaborate hoax'. A suspicious object was discovered on My Ladys Road, off the Ravenhill Road, on Wednesday morning. The Ravenhill Road was closed between the Ormeau Embankment and Woodstock Link. Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene.

Tesco Security Alert 'Elaborate Hoax'
A security alert which closed a Tesco supermarket in south Belfast has been declared an "elaborate hoax" by police. The store, located on the Newtownbreda Road had to be evacuated at around 2pm on Thursday (18 December), following the discovery of a suspicious object in the area.

A number of families had to be evacuated from their homes on Monday night at around 11pm, after a suspicious object was found in the Antrim Road area of the city. The families returned to their homes at around 3am on Tuesday.
