Cyclist Killed In Ambulance Collision

A cyclist has been killed in Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh after colliding with an ambulance.

The accident happened on the Dublin Road at about 01:15 in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The road remains closed to traffic between the Killyhevlin Hotel and Wickham Place.

Police Investigate Vehicle Damage

Police are investigating an attack on vehicles in south Belfast, in which six cars and a coach had their windows smashed.

The damage was caused on Alfred Street and Hardcastle Street at about 05.15am on Tuesday morning.

The window of a coach parked in Apsley Street was also smashed.

Arrests Follow Heroin Seizure

Two men have been arrested by police following the seizure of £11,000 worth of suspected heroin near Tobermore in Co L'Derry.

The arrests were made on Monday at about 16:45 after police stopped a car on the Desertmartin Road.

on Monday at 4.45pm.

The men, aged 28 and 33, remain in custody.

Dissident Suspect Released

A man who was arrested by detectives investigating suspected dissident republican activity has been released.

The man, in his 20s, was arrested in the Belfast area on 6 July by detectives from PSNI's Serious Crime Branch.

Four Men Arrested In Connection With Lyra McKee Murder
Four men have been arrested in connection with the murder of journalist Lyra McKee. Ms McKee was fatally shot as she observed rioting in L'Derry in April 2019. She was 29 years old. Police investigating her death have arrested four men, aged 19, 20, 21 and 33, under the Terrorism Act.

Latest PO Robbery Sparks Appeal
Yet another post office has been targeted by robbers. Yesterday, Killyman PO, near Dungannon was the latest to be hit. Although no one was hurt, a trend of such rural hold-ups is emerging after other such post offices - including a mobile - have been targeted over the last week.

Two charged over M1 car chase
Two men are to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court today in connection with a high-speed car chase in which four police officers were hurt. The incident occurred at 2am on Sunday morning when police pursued a vehicle which had allegedly been stolen in Loughgall, Co Armagh. During the chase four police officers were hurt and two arrests made.
