North Belfast Device 'Elaborate Hoax'
Homes were evacuated in north Belfast on Sunday following the discovery of suspicious object.
Stanhope Street was closed as Army bomb experts examined the device, it was later declared an "elaborate hoax".
The alert lasted for several hours, but residents were eventually allowed to the return to their homes, and the street was opened to traffic.
The device was removed for forensic examination.

'Viable Device' Found In Newtownabbey
A 'viable device' has been found in Newtownabbey in the midst of a security alert. The device was discovered in the Cherrylands/Cloughfern area shortly after 06:00 this morning. The area was cordoned off as army bomb experts examined the device and carried out a controlled explosion.

Security Alert In North Belfast
A viable device has been found during a security alert in north Belfast. The PSNI said officers were sent to Spamount Street in the New Lodge area on Wednesday morning after a suspicious object was found. An army bomb squad arrived of the scene and confirmed it was 'viable'. The alert ended at around 13:30.

A viable pipe bomb has been discovered during a security alert in north Belfast. A number of residents were evacuated from their homes after a suspicious object was found in the Fortfield place area on Thursday. Police and army bomb experts attended the scene. The device has been removed for further examination.

Pipe Bomb Type Device Found In West Belfast
A pipe bomb type device has been discovered in west Belfast. The "crude but viable" device was found during a security alert in the Rodney Drive area on Tuesday morning. Police and army bomb disposal experts attended the scene and residents had to be evacuated from their homes. The device was made safe and the alert has now ended.
