250 Jobs Announced For Belfast

250 jobs are to be created in Belfast in the next few months, as business process outsourcing company Concentrix announces it has 100 permanent positions to fill.

A further 150 temporary positions will also be recruited over the coming months.

The news follows a business deal secured by Concentrix within the technology and gadgets sector.

The positions will be customer service, inbound sales and chat services.

Concentrix will be holding various recruitment events in Belfast to begin the recruitment drive.

Alliance Finance spokesperson Judith Cochrane said: "This jobs announcement is good news for the local economy. Any substantial jobs boost, especially in the private sector, will be welcomed by all.

"As we attempt to move Northern Ireland forward following several difficult financial years, we should be doing all that is possible to help our businesses secure such global contracts.

"It is a healthy sign that Northern Ireland has been able to attract this contract. I hope other international companies will be similarly attracted to doing business here."
