performanceACTIVE Secures Three US Contracts

Belfast-based performanceACTIVE International Ltd has secured three new US contracts and two new South African contracts for its golf practice programme following support from Invest Northern Ireland.

myGRiPzone.com is an innovative new way for golfers to practice and improve their game and has been well received by a number of the sport's professionals, academies and universities since it was developed in 2012. Florida University, the Mississippi Institute of Golf and two top academies in Johannesburg and Cape Town South Africa are the latest organisations to adopt the programme.

The company recently invested over £90,000 towards business development activities and recruited two new management positions to support the future growth of the business. Invest NI has offered the company over £36,000 of support towards its marketing activities.

Ian Murphy, Invest NI's Director of Growth & Scaling, welcomed the news. He said: "myGRiPzone is an exciting online sports performance improvement product with significant export potential. Since participating on Invest NI’s Propel Programme, this high growth firm has continued to enhance its profile among target customers and is winning new business as a result. Its recent investment will give performanceACTIVE the capabilities to undertake further product development and also move into other sports."
