Men Attacked With Metal Pole In Randalstown

Two men, aged 25 and 33, have been attacked with a metal pole in Randalstown, County Antrim.

The pair were assaulted by a gang of up to ten men in the Main street area at around 2.30am on Monday.

Two men were arrested, however they have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

West Belfast Shop Robbed By Men Armed With Hammer And Metal Pole
A shop in west Belfast has been robbed and an employee threatened by two armed men. The incident happened at a commercial premises in the Durham Street area at around 6.05pm on Thursday 07 February. A female staff member was threatened before the culprits fled with cash towards the Divis Bridge area.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Kidnapping
Police have arrested two men on suspicion of kidnapping. The males, aged 33 and 31, were detained in Co L'Derry. It is believed there arrests are in connection with an incident in the city on Thursday, 26 October. No further details have been released.

Two Men Arrested Over George Gilmore Murder Released
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of George Gilmore have been released unconditionally. Mr Gilmore, aged 44, was shot in the neck in Carrickfergus on Monday, 13 March. He died from his injuries in hospital the following day, 14 March. The two suspects were detained in Co Antrim on Wednesday, 29 March.

Six Men Arrested Over Paramilitary Style Shootings Released
Six men arrested in connection with paramilitary style shootings in west Belfast have been released unconditionally. The men, aged between 29 and 50, were detained by police on Monday, 28 November, following a number of searches. They were released unconditionally on Tuesday, 30 November.

Two Arrested In Connection With Dissident Republican Activity Released
Two men arrested in connection with dissident republican activity have been released. The pair, aged 31 and 22, were arrested in Co L'Derry on Thursday, 31 March. They were questioned at a police station in Belfast. The pair were released unconditionally.
