Man Denies Murdering Woman Over 25 Years Ago
A man has denied murdering a woman in her home in Belfast over 25 years ago.
Samuel Dunwoody, 52, pleaded not guilty to the murder of Margaret Telford, who was strangled in her house in Twaddell Avenue, in February 1988.
Dunwoody, originally from Belfast, however currently has an address in Birmingham, was arrested after new evidence emerged.
The trial has been set for 10 June and could last up to two weeks.

Army Apologise For Shooting Man 40 Years Ago
The Chief of the General Staff of the British Army has officially apologised to the family of a man shot dead by a soldier in Londonderry 40 years ago. Billy McGreanery, 41, was killed by a member of the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards in 1971 as he walked past an army observation post.

Derry man jailed for crime committed 20 years ago
A Londonderry man has been jailed for nearly two years for sexually abusing three young sisters over 20 years ago. James Curran, 63, had his original sentence of probation overturned at the Appeal Court in Belfast. He was also sentenced to three years probation for indecent assaults.

Search for man murdered 20 years ago continues
The search by Irish police for the body of a man believed to have been murdered by the IRA 20 years ago has entered its second day. Charles Armstrong (57) was last seen on his way to Mass in Crossmaglen, County Armagh, in 1981. His car was later found near Dundalk with traces of gunpowder inside.

Memorial Proposal Recalls Blitz Anniversary
A solemn monument to commemorate victims of the Belfast Blitz that began 70 years ago today will be located in a park beside St Anne's Cathedral. Depending on a feasibility study, Belfast City Council is to back a proposal for the first civic Blitz memorial in the city.
