Cannabis Factory Discovered In Lisburn

A Cannabis factory has been found at Iniscarn Close in Knockmore.

PSNI recovered drugs with an estimated street value of more than £63,000.

Lisburn Area Commander Chief Inspector Darrin Jones said: "Officers will continue to carry out proactive searches like this to remove drugs from the streets of our city.

"We also continue to seek to identify those involved not only in the cultivation of cannabis but also those who deal in any sort of illegal or dangerous drug.

"I continue to urge local people to bring any concerns they have about drugs, drug dealing or any other issue to us."

Cannabis Factory Worth £200,000 Discovered
Police have uncovered a cannabis factory following a search of a property in the Belfast Road area of Antrim yesterday, Saturday 28th January. Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £200,000 have been seized. Cultivating equipment and other drugs paraphernalia were also found. A 33-year-old female was arrested at the scene.

Two Men Arrested On Suspicion Of Drugs Offences
Two men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after cannabis plants were discovered at a house in the Shankill area in Belfast. Detectives stopped a car in the Peter's Hill area on Wednesday, 01 February, which led to a house being searched in Brown Street.

A woman is due to appear in court today, 20 April, charged with drugs trafficking offences. Police seized herbal cannabis, worth an estimated street value of £3000,000, on 01 April in Co Antrim. The 54-year-old suspect is to appear Ballymena Magistrates' Court.
