Car stolen at gunpoint in Carryduff
A car containing a substantial sum of money has been stolen in Carryduff last night.
The owner of the vehicle was securing premises on the Hillsborough Road when he was confronted by a masked gunman who demanded keys to the vehicle.
Once the keys were handed over the gunman escaped with another man in the blue Audi, registration RIL 450, which had been left running by the owner while he secured the gates of the premises at around 8.40pm last night.
The robbers were immediately followed, at speed, by a dark coloured Vauxhall Calibra, registration UIL 2184.
Detectives at Castlereagh are appealing for anyone with information or who was in the area at the time to contact them 90650222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

A police vehicle has been rammed during a car theft in Belfast in the early hours this morning, Wednesday 04 November. Officers were called to an incident in the Dunmore Avenue area where a number of males had gained entry to a red Mitsubishi Colt. They attended the area and observed the stolen vehicle on the Cavehill Road area.

A silver Volkswagen, which had been reported stolen in the Castlereagh area in connection with a creeper style burglary on Wednesday morning, collided with the PSNI vehicle in the Cullingtree area just before 9.45pm on Wednesday, 15 February.

Damage From Rioting Tops £400K
It has been claimed this morning that the cost of replacing a bus taken from a female bus driver in Newtownabbey and burned by rioters will be as much as £200,000. The woman was shaken but uninjured after she was dragged from her vehicle by a gang of masked men yesterday evening during a second night of rioting in Newtownabbey.

Multiple Deaths Follow Irish Road Crashes
Four people, including a young mother, have died this weekend in a spate of road accidents across the Irish Republic. Louise McKenna, a 27-year-old mother of one, was in the passenger seat of a car that went out of control about one mile from Lixnaw on the Abbeydorney road, Co Kerry. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
