Fire Death Couple: Man Arrested
A man has been arrested in Australia over the murder of a County Armagh couple who were set on fire.
Thomas O'Hare, 33, and Lisa McClatchey, 21, were beaten with hammers, doused in petrol and then set alight at their home on Foley Road in Tassagh, near Keady, in 2006.
They died in hospital.
A 30-year-old man is due in court in Sydney on Friday as the state begins extradition proceedings.
He was arrested following a request from the PSNI.
Dundonald Regains Power Following Cut
Customers in Northern Ireland have begun to regain electricity in their homes following a power cut on Thursday morning.
Homes in the Dundonald area were affected when the electricity went off at 08:20.
It is thought the problem was caused by an underground cable fault.
The Ulster Hospital in Dundonald was affected, but back-up generators meant there was no disruption to patients or staff.
Cannabis Seized In Lisburn
A 49-year-old man has been arrested following the discovery of cannabis in a car in Lisburn.
The vehicle was stopped close to the Hillsborough roundabout at about 19:00 on Wednesday evening.
Culture Minister Promotes Irish Fluency
Culture Minister Cáral Ní Chuilín has been meeting Irish language enthusiasts in County Down on her quest to promote fluency in Northern Ireland.
The Minister launched the Líofa initiative in September 2011 with the aim of encouraging people to become fluent in Irish by 2015.
"Our initial target was to get 1,000 people to take up the Líofa challenge however since then we have far exceed this, and several new targets, we have now set our sights on a new goal of 5000 people by 2015," she said.

Man Arrested Following Incident At House In Coleraine
A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an incident at a house in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. It happened at a property on Knockantern Grove in the Mountsandel area on Tuesday, 16 August. The suspect has been arrested on suspicion of possessing of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an offence and assault on police.

Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Attempted Murder
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder over an attack in Coleraine, Co L'Derry. A man, aged in his 50s, is in a critical condition in hospital after he was assaulted at a house on the Ballycastle Road on Monday, 26 September. Two other men were also arrested and have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Man Charged Over Murder Of Anne O'Neill
A 27-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Anne ONeill. The 51-year-old victim died from her injuries following an incident at a house in the Ardmore Avenue area in Finaghy on Saturday, 21 October. The suspect is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, 25 October.

Three people arrested following disturbances
Three people have been arrested following disturbances in north Belfast last night. A family had to be evacuated from their home following the trouble in the Clifton Street area on Monday. One woman was taken to hospital, but was later released. Police said it appeared that a row had broken out between residents in Stanhope Street.
