Man Charged With David Black Murder

A man has been charged in connection with the murder of prison officer David Black.

He is due to appear at Lisburn court on Thursday morning.

Mr Black, 52, was shot as he drove to work on the M1 on 1st November.

A 44-year-old man and a woman, 31, were arrested in Dublin on Thursday.

Duffy Released Over Prison Officer Murder
Colin Duffy has been released following his arrest for the murder of prison officer David Black. Prominent republican Duffy, 44, and another 31-year-old man were detained in Lurgan on Friday. The two men have now been released unconditionally, but a 29-year old man is still being questioned following his arrest in the Irish Republic on Friday.

Man Charged Over David Black Murder
A man has been charged with the murder of prison officer David Black, the PSNI has revealed. Detectives from Serious Crime Branch have charged a 33-year-old man with the murder of Prison Officer David Black on 1 November 2012. The man has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

David Black Murder - Man Released Without Charge
A man who was being held by police in the Republic of Ireland in connection with the murder of prison officer David Black on 1 November last year has been released without charge. The 51-year-old male was arrested and detained at Ballyconnell Garda Station on Monday 2 December 2013.

Man Remanded In Custody In Connection With David Black Murder
A man has been remanded in custody charged in relation with the murder of prison officer David Black. Damien Joseph McLaughlin, from Kilmascally Road, Co Tyrone, appeared at Lisburn Magistrates Court yesterday. He is accused of obtaining the car in the Republic of Ireland before it was allegedly used by Mr Black's killers .
