Fast Food Chain Eyes Greater Slice Of The Take Away Market
Pizza Hut Delivery is set to open around 100 new stores across the UK.
An investment of £20m by the subsidiary of US food giant Yum Brands will see Pizza Hunt branch Pizza Hut Delivery gain 700 UK outlets by 2014.
The franchise model would create 2,000 new jobs.
Company spokesman Mark Fox commented: "We are committed to delivering a major investment in growing our UK system, creating significant new opportunities for existing and would-be franchisees.
"Our investment will increase our marketing spend, drive the outlet numbers and visibility of Pizza Hut Delivery, and create opportunities for franchisees to grow their businesses quickly."

Green Isle Foods invest €22.6m in Naas expansion
A €22.6 million expansion investment by Green Isle Foods Ltd at their plant in Naas, Co Kildare is set to create 130 new jobs. The development which is due to begin production in Autumn 2005, is supported by Enterprise Ireland and will lead to the creation of the new jobs from a current base at Naas of approximately 630.
