Detectives Appeal Over Cregagh Road Robbery
Detectives in Castlereagh are appealing for information following a robbery in the Cregagh Road area on Sunday evening.
A woman had her handbag stolen by masked men at about 20:30. It was found discarded a short time later in the Downshire Park area, with a sum of cash missing.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was not injured in the incident but was left shaken.
The man is described as being about 5'9" tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a black balaclava, black raincoat and black trousers.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact CID in Castlereagh on 0845 600 8000.
The independent charity Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Houses Damaged In Petrol bomb Attack
Two houses were damaged in a petrol bomb attack in west Belfast in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred on Hawthorne Street at about 01:00.
The attack left scorch damage in the living room of one house and to the window of the other property. A car parked nearby was also vandalised, having its tyres slashed.
Man Attacked And Robbed By Armed Gang
A 23-year-old man was attacked by an armed gang during aggravated burglary on the outskirts of west Belfast on Friday.
The attack happened at about 21:40 as the victim answered his door at Colinbrook Gardens in Poleglass.
Four men forced their way into the property. It is thought one of them was carrying a gun and another had a large wrench.
The men made the victim lie on the floor and hit him on the head with the wrench.
They then stole his mobile phone, two games consoles and cash before leaving.
The man has been treated in hospital for his injuries.
Police Investigate Shooting
Police in north Belfast are investigating a shooting which happened in the Downfine Walk area of Ballymurphy at about 18:30 on Friday evening.
A 37 year old man was approached by two unknown men in the area of the Trinity centre.
The men dragged him through a nearby alleyway before shooting him three times.
He was taken to hospital with gun shot wounds to both calves and his left thigh.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact police in North Belfast on 0845 600 8000.
Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Man Shot In County Down
A 28-year-old man has been shot in the leg in a gun attack in County Down. The man was getting out of his car at the Quays in Killyleagh at about 1.00am on Wednesday morning when a man approached him and shot him. The man is recovering in hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two Men Arrested Over Shooting Attack In L'Derry
Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting attack in L'Derry. A man was shot in the leg at a premises in Central Drive on 27 March. A 26-year-old and a 49-year-old man were arrested on Wednesday, 19 April. They have been detained and are being questioned by the police.

PSNI Appeal For Information After Cars Set Alight In North Belfast
The PSNI have appealed for information after four cars were set alight in north Belfast. Police say the suspected arson attack happened at around 22:30 on Tuesday night on the Whitewell Road. It is understood no one was injured in the incidents.

Four Men Arrested Over Explosive Device In West Belfast Released
Four men arrested in connection with an explosive device in west Belfast last year have been released from custody. The device was found in the Pantridge Road area on 30 October. Three men arrested under the Terrorism Act have been released unconditionally.

A man has been shot in the ankle in Co L'Derry. The paramilitary-style attack happened near the Creggan shops at around 7.45pm on Thursday, 07 December. The 41-year-old man has been taken to hospital to be treated, however his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Police described the shooting as "brutal and horrific".
