Arson Attack At Block Of Flats In North Belfast
Police are investigating an arson attack on a block of flats in north Belfast.
A fire was deliberately started in the downstairs area of the building on the Cliftonville Avenue at approximately 11.30pm on Tuesday night.
Police and fire crews attended the scene and no-one was reported to be injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them.

Police Officers Disciplined For Failing To Tell Doctor About Woman's Head Injuries
Two police officers have been disciplined after they failed to let their colleagues and a police doctor know that a woman had sustained a head injury, a Police Ombudsman investigation has concluded. The woman died from bleeding to the brain on 24 February 2014, the day after she suffered the injury.

Two men have been treated for smoke inhalation following an arson attack at a house in north Belfast. The incident happened at a property on the Ligoniel Road on Wednesday, 12 October. The front door was set on fire and significant damage was caused.

Police Appeal After 'Shot Fired' In North Belfast
Police have launched an investigation after reports of a shot being fired in north Belfast. No-one is believed to have been injured in the incident in the Farringdon Court area on Thursday. Police are keen to establish what happened and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Five Police Officers Treated In Hospital Following Fire In North Belfast
Five police officers have been treated in hospital for the effects of breathing in smoke following a fire in north Belfast. Officers responded to reports of a fire at a block of flats in Flax Street at around 5.40am on Saturday 29 September. The officers who were first to arrive at the scene entered the building and evacuated residents.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for witnesses following an arson attack on a property in north Belfast on Wednesday 05 September. Shortly before 9.45am it was reported that an unoccupied flat on Woodland Avenue was on fire. It is believed that entry had been gained to the property before the fire started in the kitchen area.
