Former Apprentice Winner To Be Guest Speaker At Business Awards

Former BBC Apprentice Show winner Tim Campbell will be in Belfast as guest speaker of the Belfast Business Awards at the City Hall on Thursday 8 November.

But the Enterprise Ambassador who set up the Bright Ideas Trust enterprise charity - which gives young entrepreneurs a chance to start up in business - will also host a special seminar in the city on Friday 9 November in the Holiday Inn.

Both the Belfast Business Awards and workshop are organised by Belfast City Council.

The seminar on Friday is called 'Making the Most of Your Bright Ideas!' and Tim Campbell who was awarded an MBE for Enterprise Culture in the New Year's Honours List this year, will share his experiences of being an Apprentice, working for Lord Sugar and establishing the Bright Ideas Trust.

The event which will run from 9.30am to 12pm will also hear from Catherine O'Neill who completed the council's Belfast Enterprise Academy Programme last year and has since set up her own business One Environment.

The free event is funded by Belfast City Council with the support of Invest NI and the European Regional Development Fund under the European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme for Northern Ireland.
