Priest dies following road accident
A Catholic priest has died following a road traffic accident in Newry at the weekend.
Father Sean McCartan, the parish priest at the Church of Sacred Heart in Cloghogue, was killed when the car he was travelling in collided with a stolen car on the Dublin Road in the town.
The 64-year-old died when his car was involved in a head-on collision with a stolen vehicle driven by Martin James Kelly, 20, from Barrack Street in Dundalk.
Elsewhere, a man has died following an accident involving his motorcycle. Steven Gareth Orr, from Annalong, died when his motorcycle left the main coast road from Annalong to Newcastle on Sunday.

Motorcyclist Dies In Race Crash
A motorcyclist has died following a crash in the Walderstown Road Races in Athlone. Bruce Moulds, 20, from Hillsborough, was taken to a hospital in Dublin on Sunday, but later died from his injuries. He was taking part in a race when he lost control of the bike and he crashed into a ditch.

Two people die in separate road accidents
Two people have died following separate road accidents in Counties Down and Fermanagh on Tuesday. In the first accident a man died following a crash between two cars on the main Belfast to Holywood road shortly after 5.30pm. He died in hospital a short time later.

Two people have died in separate road accidents in Counties Londonderry and Down. In the latest accident, a man died following a road traffic accident in Ballynahinch on Wednesday. The accident occurred on the Crossgar Road at around 10.30am. Only one vehicle is believed to have been involved. The victim's name has yet to be released.
