Ambulance damaged in brick attack

A brick has been thrown through a window of an ambulance in Dunmurry.

The incident happened at around 9.50pm on Wednesday.

While the driver escaped injury, police condemned the attack saying it had the potential for more serious consequences.

This is just the latest in a spate of attacks on ambulance crew in recent times. Last month ambulance crews were attacked two nights running during disturbances in north Belfast.
