Todds Leap Scoop Gold For NI At Business Awards Ceremony

Ballygawley-based Todds Leap has fought off stiff competition and scooped gold for NI at Britain's Best Business Awards.

Britain's Best Business Awards are presented to companies that can demonstrate that they are setting high standards and achieving ambitious targets in their business performance.

The glittering ceremony was held at Edinburgh Castle on 10th September.

The Managing Director, Brian O'Hanlon attended the event and said that it had been a fantastic year for the company.

He said: "Our investments have paid off, our recruitment drive has brought in new expertise and we are going to continue to develop and plan for the years ahead."

Recently, Todds Leap also announced plans to employ an additional 10 staff with support from Invest Northern Ireland's Jobs Fund.

Ian Murphy, Director of Invest NI's Growth and Scaling Division, says: "Over the last few years, Todds Leap has grown its turnover and increased its profitability and reputation across the UK and Republic of Ireland. As a result, Benedict needs to expand his workforce across the three businesses. With support from our Jobs Fund he will be able to recruit the staff quickly to ensure that he can build on recent success."

The Jobs Fund is part of Invest NI's Boosting Business campaign which provides businesses with a range of support under the themes of jobs, skills, research and development, exports and technology.

Mr O'Hanlon said: "Our outdoor activity centre offers a range of team-building courses for businesses as well as youth programmes. Todds Leap is also home to exciting motorised activities, including one of the most challenging off-road courses of any outdoor activity centre in Ireland.

“We have worked hard to raise the profile of the businesses in recent years and as a result are welcoming increased numbers of visitors from across the border. The support from the Jobs Fund will help us to put into place the staff needed to service the activity centre and support the pallet racking and vehicle modification businesses."
