Loyalist delegation push for more funding
A 12-strong delegation from the Loyalist Commission has met NIO minister Des Browne.
The delegation met the Minister to discuss more funding for working-class loyalist areas.
Other discussed at Monday night's meeting included proposals for restoring devolution to Northern Ireland, however Mr Browne refused to reveal any details of the blueprint.
An NIO official described the encounter as "positive" and said that more talks were planned.

SDLP delegation to discuss loyalist violence with Minister
SDLP North Antrim MLA Sean Farren has said the activities of loyalist paramilitaries presents a threat to a new generation and “requires a new response”. Mr Farren was speaking ahead of a meeting with NIO Minister Lord Rooker concerning the recent ongoing loyalist feud between the UVF and LVF as well as attacks on Catholic homes in Ahoghill.

Fire Brigades Union delegation meets NIO Minister
Fire Brigades Union (FBU) representatives have met NIO Minister Des Browne today to discuss the upcoming firefighters' strike which is set to start next week. The union met with Mr Browne to push the case for a 40% pay increase for full-time firefighters which would see their salaries rise to £30,000 per annum.
