Two men to appear in court over separate burglary charges

A 39-year-old man is to appear in Belfast Magistrates Court today charged with aggravated burglary and threats to kill.

The charges relate to an incident at Ava Avenue in the Ormeau Road area of south Belfast recently.

In a separate incident a 19-year-old man is also to appear in court charged with burglary and assault.

The charges relate to an incident on Saturday morning when an elderly woman was injured during a break-in at her Whiteabbey home.

Man to appear in court on burglary charges
A man is to appear in court on Wednesday in connection with the burglary of a house in Co Armagh last week. The accused has been charged with aggravated burglary in relation to the break-in at the house near Loughgall on 9 November and is due to appear before magistrates in Newry.

The High Court has heard how a man was allegedly attacked by his partner, who then set his home on fire, according to the BBC. BBC Northern Ireland has reported how Ciaran Fleming, 20, of no fixed abode, is accused of beating up the victim and causing damage to the apartment.
