Co Fermanagh man suffers broken nose in robbery

A Co Fermanagh man has suffered a broken nose after being assaulted by two men at his home in Enniskillen.

The 65-year-old man was confronted by two men who forced their way into his home on Sunday. They then assaulted him before robbing his home. It is understood that a sum of money was taken during the robbery.

The man, who was deeply shocked by the incident, was treated in hospital for his injuries.

Police have described the assault on the man as "vicious".

Castlederg man 'shaken' following robbery
A man in his 60's has been left "shocked and shaken" after being assaulted during a robbery at his home in Co Tyrone. The man was confronted by two masked men at his home on the Ednagee Road in Castlederg shortly before 3am on Monday. The robbers had broken in via a back window.

A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted at his home in Co Londonderry on Thursday. The 56-year-old victim was alone in his home at Sea Coast Road in Castlerock when the incident happened at around 9.30pm.

Carryduff Man Assaulted At Home
A man has been assaulted by a number of masked men at his home in Carryduff. The incident occurred at about 02:00 on Wednesday morning when the 32-year-old answered a knock to the door of his Alveston Park home and was confronted by a man with a scarf obscuring his face. The man punched the victim a number of times in the face.

Man Assaulted With Hammer In Lisburn Robbery
A 32-year-old man has been assaulted with a claw hammer during an aggravated burglary in Lisburn on Sunday, 05 May. The homeowner suffered lacerations to the head after three men gained entry to his flat in the Woodbrook Avenue area. He was later taken to hospital for treatment. Local police received a report of the break-in at approximately 11.
