FSS NI Scoops Two Major Export Contracts
Ballymena company Food Service Support Solutions Ltd (FSS NI) has recently won two major export contracts following marketing support from Invest Northern Ireland.
The company's core business is the provision of portable kitchens and heavy duty catering equipment to the foodservice market on a short and medium term hire basis. FSS NI offers a complete facilities management hire package and has also recently added a unique food holding and distribution product range for purchase or contract hire, called Scanbox, to its overall product portfolio.
The two new contracts are with University College Hospital, Galway and St Ita’s Hospital, Portrane in County Dublin. They involve providing purpose-built modular food production facilities, which handle all aspects of food delivery, storage, preparation, production and food transportation. Together the contacts are worth almost €900,000.
Gavin Rogers, Managing Director, FSS (NI) Ltd, said: "We're delighted with these contract wins, which are the result of continuous investment in marketing our products in the Republic of Ireland. Invest NI's support has enabled us to undertake extensive marketing which continues to pay dividends."
Portable kitchens are most commonly used during kitchen refurbishment, rebuilding projects, expansion or disaster recovery, such as fire or flood. They can also be supplied for large scale events or corporate hospitality catering requirements.
