Taste Of Success For Belfast Coffee Company

An artisan coffee company has been given a total of six gold stars at the annual Great Taste awards, which seek out the best independent food and drinks producers across the UK and Ireland.

Belfast-based artisan coffee company, Bailies Hand Roasted Coffee, won the accolades for its Puccini Espresso; Sweet Wonders Espresso; and Fairtrade House Blend filter coffee; as well as its Jasmine loose leaf tea and Hot Chocolate blend.

Bailies now boasts a total of eighteen gold stars for its hand-roasted and locally blended hot drinks.

Ross Kane, Business Development Manager said: "Bailies is made up of a small, local team, with people who are passionate about producing great coffee. We focus on selling primarily to independent coffee shops and restaurants owned by people who are equally passionate about quality and provenance. We love coffee and we love what we do, so we take the art of roasting very seriously, sourcing only the best beans and always striving to improve our blends."

"This is only the second year Bailies has entered these awards, so to have amassed 18 stars in a relatively short period is a great achievement for us, especially for our loose leaf tea and hot chocolate products as we are primarily known for our coffee."

Bailies' is the only company in Northern Ireland to receive awards in all three hot drinks categories - tea, hot chocolate and coffee.
