Missing Dean Patton's Family Describe Concern

The parents of a Portrush man who has been missing for three weeks said their son has mental health problems and does not have access to his medication.

Dean Patton, 24, was last seen in Portrush at 1pm on Tuesday July 24.

He had just moved to supported living accommodation and, his mother Linda said, was happy with his new independence.

Police and volunteers have been searching for Dean, who is described as being about 6ft tall and tanned with dark hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

House Prices 'Will Continue To Fall'

Northern Ireland is the most likely part of the UK to see property prices fall further, experts have claimed.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors found that 68% of surveyors recorded reducing prices here in recent months.

The body's housing spokesman Tom McClelland said the current low level of prices was last seen more than a decade ago, well before the recession hit.

The average price reduction since the 2007 peak is between 50% and 60%.

South Belfast Dog Owner Fined

A south Belfast dog owner has been fined for allowing her pet to stray.

In a prosecution brought by Belfast City Council, Natalie Wilson, of Ravenhill Avenue, was fined £40 after her Rottweiler was detected straying on the nearby Ravenhill Road in February this year.

She also was ordered to pay £66 in costs.

PSNI To Be Fined £750,000 For Major Data Breach
The PSNI is to be fined £750,000 following a data breach that exposed the personal information of all serving officers and police staff. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has issued the fine for the PSNI's failure to protect the personal information of its entire workforce.
