One of the robbers was described as being tall and was wearing a blue hooded top wrapped around his face, blue jeans, white trainers and green and yellow gloves.

The other man was wearing a red hooded top wrapped around his face, blue jeans, white trainers and green and yellow gloves.

TV License Evaders Caught

More than 8,300 people across Northern Ireland have been caught evading their TV licence bill in the first half of this year.

Almost 95% of properties are correctly licensed, according to TV Licensing.

The highest fine for avoiding the £145.50 annual fee stands at £1,000.

Littering 'Post Code Lottery'

The leader of the Ulster Unionist Party has blasted the "post code lottery" that sees some councils effectively ignore littering penalties while others use the £80 fine available to them.

Tom Elliot is MLA for Fermanagh and South Tyrone.

The Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough issued just two fixed penalty notices for littering in the last year.

That was still more than were issued in Strabane, where the council did not use its penalty powers at all.

Mr Elliot said: "If fines of £80 are imposed, then people would think twice about spoiling the image of our streets, parks and beaches."
